A US internet provider is betting on GTA VI week. Spectrum announced a free "Gig Speed Lift" for eligible customers from 9 to 30 November, Dexerto reported on 5 November.
Qualifying customers can activate speeds of up to 1 Gbps through the My Spectrum app, and existing 1 Gig customers in select areas can get 2 Gbps, according to the report.
Spectrum says its Gig service can get players into GTA VI in under 30 minutes. Dexerto notes that real download times depend on connection speed, network conditions and console download servers.
The boost does not let anyone play early, and Spectrum says it comes with no extra cost or permanent change to customer plans. If you are still planning storage, see our install size guide.
